In accordance with NITIE's constant effort to keep up with the globalisation trends, we have introduced admissions to international candidates for the Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) course
NITIE's Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) aims to groom young managers who will not only design better procedures and systems but also manage the associated technologies successfully. PGDIM blends classroom work and hands-on industry internship.
Apart from classroom teaching, emphasis is laid on industrial visits, practical case studies, industrial guest faculty, presentations and management games. Continuous interaction with the industries is sought through a series of seminars and various other events organized by the students.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates should have full time Engineering/Technology graduation in any branch with aggregate 60% marks and a valid GMAT score. Foreign candidate should have a valid Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score or The International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) score. TOEFL/ IELTS test scores more than two years old will not be accepted for consideration.
At the time of application, all candidates will have to submit a SOP (Statement of purpose) and two LORs (Letters of recommendations) along with GMAT score and TOEFL / IELTS score (Foreign candidates only) for all the above Programmes.
Final year Engineering/Technology candidates can also apply, provided they qualify the above criteria for examinations appeared till date. Students appearing for final year examinations in 2023 shall be permitted to submit their result latest by September 30, 2023. Their admission will stand cancelled in case they fail to meet the qualifying requirements.
Nationality of Candidates :
International candidates are Indian nationals or foreign nationals. They can apply in ANY ONE of the following FOUR categories as an international candidate.
- Non Resident Indian (NRI)
- Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)
- Foreign Candidate
- SAARC country nationals and Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries
The candidate has to satisfy the following conditions to become eligible as an international candidate:
Candidate should possess a valid passport or travel document of residing outside India and NOT in a position to take up the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management at various centres in India.
AND
Candidate should have been (expected to be) resident outside India for a period of 18 months or more till the closing date of online admission portal, and be outside India during the CAT examination window.
