NITIE, Mumbai organised Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat (EBSB) Day today July 31, 2020, at Director’s Conference Room. During the event, MHRD initiatives Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat and Manodarpan were introduced to the new students who have recently joined the Institute. A total of 665 participants attended the event from the safe premise of their home. The programme was streamed on WebEX platform.
Director Prof. Manoj K Tiwari inaugurated the event amidst the gracious presence of Dean Academic Prof. Padmanav Acharya, Dean SRIC Prof. Vivekananda Khanapuri, Dean Student Affairs Prof. Hema Date and Registrar Shri Basawraj Swamy. He motivated the students to join the initiative and collaborate to contribute to the cultural exchange.
Dr Rajesh Roshan Dash, EBSB Coordinator, IIT Bhubaneswar attended the event and invited the NITIE students to IIT, Bhubaneshwar and have talked about the proud EBSB partnership with NITIE, Mumbai.
EBSB Team made the presentation on Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat and Manodarpan and informed new students about these noble initiatives of MHRD and the vision of our revered Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
Second-year EBSB coordinators shared the details of EBSB activities performed at the Institute. They then read the Swachta pledge in Odiya, Marathi, Hindi and English and invited the new students to read the same.
NITIE, Mumbai proudly released a “COVID-19 preventive measure message video -Stay Home Stay Safe” prepared by Team TDX, NITIE for Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. Students presented themselves in their respective mother tongue, promoting the message Stay Home Stay Safe. More than 18 students participated in this video
