Teachers Day 2020 celebration

NITIE Cultural Committee organized Teacher's Day celebrations on 5th September 2020, to pay respects to all our faculty members for their tireless efforts, on behalf of entire NITIE student fraternity.

The evening started by commemorating birth anniversary of India's 1st vice-President Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, with his words of wisdom.

After deep prajjwalan, Hon'ble Director Prof. MK Tiwari sir, Dean(Academics) Prof. P Acharya sir and Dean(SRIC) Prof. VB Khanapuri sir addressed the gathering by their insightful thoughts and shared memories of their inspiring teachers.

Students presented a melodious Ganpati Vandana, two beautiful dance tributes, a poetry and a flute instrumental.

Students also requested two senior NITIE Professors, Prof. KVSS Narayana Rao and Prof. Seema Unnikrishnan, to share their teacher-student memories.

Highlight of the evening was 'Tea With Teachers' - an entertaining poll game for teachers! (Now we know 70% teachers feel that Network Issue is the biggest excuse students make during online classes!)

The event concluded by singing of the National Anthem.

Cultural committee thanks the Chief Warden and Cultural PICs for their guidance in organising the event.
