Rajbhasha Keerti Award to NITIE

NITIE has been honored with Rajbhasha Keerti Award in the 'B' region by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for the year 2019-20 for the excellent implementation of Official Language Hindi in the Institute. Dr. Basavaraj Swamy, Registrar received the prestigious award on behalf of the Institute from Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra, Hon'ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India at a grand function organized at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 14th September 2021 on the occasion of Hindi Day. On this occasion, Shri Nishit Pramanik, Hon'ble Minister of State for Home Affairs and Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (OL), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India were present on the dais. Prof. Nikhil K. Mehta, Assoc. Professor and Md. Aftab Alam, Hindi Officer, NITIE were also present on this occasion.

It's worth noticing that earlier NITIE had been honored Six times with "Official Language Award" for the year 2005-06, 2007-08, 2013-14, 2014-15, 2017-18 and 2018-19 for the excellent implementation of Official Language Hindi in the Institute. Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Director of the Institute expressed this as a great achievement for NITIE & reiterated the commitment to speed up Hindi Implementation in the Institute in the coming years
