International Management Development Programmes (MDP) conducted at NITIE, Mumbai

NITIE, Mumbai has started International Management Development Programmes (MDP). NITIE is well known in the country for its executive education programmes. Executives from reputed public sector and private sector companies attend these programmes to enhance their knowledge and skills.

The first international MDP, Industrial Engineering for Productivity, started on 31 August, 2020 and conducted for five days with support of Webex. On this occasion, Prof. V. B. Khanapuri, Dean (SRIC) welcomed all the participants. Prof. D. K. Srivastava, Chairman International MDP, addressed the participants and told them about NITIE's contribution to executive education.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. M. K. Tiwari, Director, NITIE Mumbai. He emphasized on role of Industrial Engineering education for improving productivity of organisations. This MDP conducted by Dr. KVSS Rao, Professor of Industrial Engineering, NITIE Mumbai. Various topics discussed during these five days, ie. principles of Industrial engineering, process Industrial engineering, product industrial engineering, etc.

The objective of the programme is to educate the participants about various industrial engineering tools and techniques and their application for improving productivity.

In the coming months, NITIE will be conducting five more international MDPs:-

  1. Supply Chain Management
  2. Data Science Applications in Finance
  3. Communications with Indian Organisations
  4. Business Strategy for Achieving Competitive Advantage
  5. Sustainability Leadership Development

Executives, working in India as well as foreign countries are eligible to attend these programmes. All programmes will be conducted with support of webex.
